Sidetalk II. (communications program) (evaluation)
by David English

With SideTalk II, you can stay in your word processor--or most any other program--and use your modern at the same time. SideTalk II is a memory-resident communications program with most of the features you'd expect from a big stand-alone program, including a powerful script language, support for XMODEM and YMODEM transfers, and the ability to create keyboard macros. This latest version even includes an MNP driver, which brings the benefits of MNP error-correction to non-MNP modems.

When memory-resident, SideTalk II takes up about 100K, or you can run it as a stand-alone application. It's a slick little program that's perfect for laptop computers.
