Early Harvest

Apple CEO John Sculley sold about a third of his Apple stock in May. The sale amounted to 120,000 shares for a total of about $5 million. The shares were purchased by Sculley in October through his stock option plan for just $1 million, yielding a profit of $4 million. According to Apple, Sculley sold this unusually large number of shares for personal financial reasons.
