The Percom disk drive RFD ROM source code has been assembled and upgraded. Now there won't be any more timeouts, I/O errors or disk crashes with AtariWriter and other programs. When it formats, the renovated Percom disk drive writes zeros instead of lA's to all sectors, and automatic density switch is allowed for drives 2, 3 and 4 when used with operating systems like TopDOS, MyDOS and SpartaDOS. The ROM chip is $20 and the source code listing is $30.
