Discovery cartridge released

Happy Computers, maker of the famous "Happy" drives for the 8-bit Atari computers, is now shipping the Discovery cartridge, a device for ST computers that allows the user to make backups of any type of disk. The cartridge was designed around a custom chip that allows the ST to read and write virtually any floppy disk format, including Macintosh format disks. Options include direct access to a third and fourth floppy drive, a battery-backed-up clock, sockets for ROMs and EPROMs and a second cartridge port. The basic Discovery cartridge is priced at $249.95, and the cartridge with all the extra options is $319.95.
